One kg of gold biscuits found at bookie’s house

BENGALURU: The Central Crime Branch police have arrested two bookies who were allegedly involved in betting and found 1 kg gold biscuits at one of the bookies’ house during a raid on his flat in RR Nagar.

The accused Saket and Rishabh were allegedly involved in cricket betting for the World Cup 2023 final match. The police have seized a laptop and mobile phones which were used for online cricket betting.

 

The duo was running an online betting racket through some websites. The CCB inspected the entire flat and found one kg of gold biscuits (ten gram each) in the flat. They seized gold biscuits as there were no proper documents.
