BENAGALURU: A woman techie damaged furniture at a women’s paying guest accommodation in Electronics City after a short circuit in her hair dryer.
Shambavi, who is a software engineer with a private company, was in a hurry to go to work on Friday. While she was drying her hair after a shower, a spark erupted in her hair dryer due to a short circuit and Shambavi threw the hair dryer on the bed as her hair got burnt. As a result, the bed and some furniture were also burnt due to fire.
Now, the owner has complained that the furniture has been damaged due to Shambavi’s negligence and a case has been registered at the Electronics City police station.
