DHARWAD: A woman died after suffering a heart attack while travelling in a bus, near Toll Naka here on Wednesday evening. The incident was captured on CCTV camera installed inside the bus.
The victim Indumathi Rajaram Kambale (59) had boarded the private bus at Jubilee Circle and when it reached Toll Naka, the conductor approached her to issue a ticket. However, Indumathi did not respond and the conductor sought another passenger’s help.
When there was still no response, the driver took the bus to the district hospital where the doctors confirmed the woman’s death. The Vidyagiri police have registered a case and taken up further investigation.
