DAVANAGERE: An aged woman and her two sons were brutally thrashed over placing pots on a compound wall adjacent to a dargah, at Harihar on Sunday night. All the three injured were admitted to the Harihar taluk hospital.
Syed Farooq, his brother Syed Mehboob and their mother live in their house next to the Nadband Shah Makan dargah in Harihar. On Sunday night, when the brothers returned from prayers, local resident Mohammed Khan picked an argument with Syed Mehboob regarding the flower pots placed on the compound wall.
The argument took a turn for the worse with Mohammed Khan and his relatives brutally assaulting Farooq, Mehboob and their mother. The Harihar Town police visited the spot and have registered a case.
