BENGALURU: A motorcycle rider while a pedestrian is battling for her life in hospital after the former rammed into her while she was crossing the road near Mahadevapura in Nelamangala taluk on Monday.
Footage from CCTV shows the woman crossing the road when the speeding biker knocks her down, flinging her into the air and the motorcycle crashing and being dragged some distance due to the momentum.
Due to frequent accidents and lack of safety, locals have been demanding a skywalk for pedestrians for a while now, but the authorities have not responded. The Nelamangala traffic police have registered a case.
