BENGALURU: A woman physical education teacher of a government school in Chikkabanavara allegedly assaulted the sports coach of a private school during a cluster-level kabaddi tournament over a trivial issue.
The tournament was being held at the Yashas Vidya Kendra grounds at Maruti Nagar, Somashettihalli, in Chikkabanavara. The school’s sports coach Amruth alleged that the PE teacher G Sridevi had brought some local youths who were sitting on the school compound.
“We had organised a cluster-level kabaddi tournament. When I questioned why the local youths were sitting on the compound, PE teacher Sridevi assaulted me and grabbed me by the scruff of the collar”, he claimed. The PE teacher’s act was captured on a CCTV camera on the school campus.
