BENGALURU: In a brutal murder, a woman was beheaded and her limbs chopped off at Janata Colony in Bannerghatta on the outskirts of the city.
It is believed that the murder may have been committed 4-5 days ago but came to light after the dismembered body was found on Thursday close to the victim’s house.
Geethamma (53) had been missing for the last few days. Coincidentally, 3-4 of her tenants, who hail from North India, have also been missing since the same time.
The attackers had cut her body into pieces and dumped them near her house. It is suspected that the tenants were involved in the murder.
