CHIKKODI: A man, along with his parents, allegedly strangulated his wife to death over dowry demand at Hidkal village in the taluk. The deceased was identified as Sridevi Deepak Bevinakatti (31)
Sridevi and Deepak Bevinakatti (34) were married for three years, but the couple had no children. Deepak allegedly used to harass his wife to bring dowry. On Wednesday, Deepak and his parents Padmavathi (50) and Ramachandra (64), allegedly strangulated Sridevi to death.
The Yamakanmardi police visited the spot and have registered a case.
