MANDYA: A woman died while another was seriously injured after a tourist bus suddenly reversed and hit a group of people who were having dinner on a platform at Brindavan Gardens at Krishnaraja Sagar Dam (KRS) in Srirangapatna taluk on Sunday night.
The victim was identified as Kausalya (60) from Kerala, who sustained head injuries. Another woman was seriously injured and admitted to a private hospital in Mysuru.
The bus, which was carrying students from Kerala on a tour, had suddenly moved backwards while the driver was manoeuvering it. A case has been registered at the KRS police station.
