BENGALURU: A woman died in a serial accident at Mayo Hall Junction on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Anjali (36) while another individual suffered head injuries.
Anjali was riding on a two-wheeler with Vijay Kumar when a goods vehicle crashed into a car parked at the junction, which, in turn, hit the two-wheeler.
Anjali and Vijay Kumar were thrown to the road, suffering serious head injuries. While Anjali died on the spot, Vijay Kumar is undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
The driver of the goods vehicle, responsible for the accident, fled the scene. A case has been registered at the Ashok Nagar traffic police station, and a search is under way to apprehend the absconding driver.
