BENGALURU: An aged woman, riding pillion on a motorcycle, died after a tipper knocked down the two-wheeler at Indlawadi Cross in Anekal taluk on the outskirts of the city on Thursday.
The tipper was coming from Jigani when it hit the Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle, killing the woman. The motorcycle rider and another woman sustained serious injuries. The motorcycle was coming from Indlawadi to Anekal.
The tipper driver abandoned the vehicle on the road and fled. The Anekal police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the driver.
