RAICHUR: A woman died after a car rammed into a parked truck near the Gunjallai toll plaza in the taluk on Tuesday night. The deceased was identified as Annapurna (34) of Hanchinala village.
The accident occurred when the occupants of the car were returning from Vijayapura. Annapurna’s brother Naveen, who was driving the car, was seriously injured and was shifted to a hospital by locals.
The Yaragera police visited the spot and have registered a case.
