The bus suddenly took a right turn while coming down the Sangolli Rayanna flyover near Anand Rao Circle and knocked them down from behind. The deceased woman and her husband were going shopping and their daughter was on another two-wheeler. No ambulance turned up even half an hour after the accident, it is said.

The family is a resident of Kempapura near Hebbal. Though they owned a car, they chose to go shopping to Pothy’s showroom in Gandhinagar on a two-wheeler as it was a Sunday and traffic congestion would to be less.
