BENGALURU: After a man filed a complaint with the Viveknagar police alleging that his wife had sold their child, it has now emerged that the mother and child are safe.
According to the police, the wife Deepika had left home fed up with her husband Ravi Babu’s mental and physical harassment on April 18 from Majestic area. The investigation exposed that Ravibabu had levelled false allegations against his wife.
The wife had accused Ravi Babu of having illicit affairs with other women. She alleged that he was cheating on her using two mobile phones. The woman was distressed by constant fights in their 16-year marriage.
After quarrels at her parental home too, she went missing with her children without seeking anyone’s help. Police traced and rescued the wife and three children. Police questioned the husband who had fabricated the child-sale story.
