BENGALURU: A Muslim woman has filed a complaint against DJ Halli Police Inspector Sunil, accusing him of raping her by promising to marry her.
The woman alleged that Sunil promised to get their marriage registered, and that he would gift her a house, open a beauty parlour for her livelihood, but instead sexually exploited her multiple times over the past year.
According to the complaint, Sunil would call her to his house and hotel at 8th Mile in DJ Halli and rape her. He also threatened her saying he’ll kill her if she reveals about their affair, and blackmailed her with her private photos and videos, the complainant said. The victim has approached the DGP office, seeking justice.
