Went to Hyderabad in response to police notice, claims Attica Gold MD

BENGALURU: Founder and managing director of Attica Gold Company, Bommanahalli Babu, on Monday denied that he had married twice and claimed that he had gone to Hyderabad in response to a notice issued to him in a case involving his nephew.

Speaking to reporters, he said that his elder brother’s son, who lives with him, is married to a girl from Visakhapatnam and was living there. But due to some marital disputes, he had moved out of their house following with the nephew’s wife had filed a dowry harassment case against him. “They had included my name and that of my family members in their complaint. The police had issued me a notice and I went to Hyderabad in response to the notice”, he claimed.

Responding to allegations of buying stolen gold, he denied it completely and said that he has appointed retired police officers to track such cases.
