RAICHUR: Villagers of Neeramanvi village in Manvi taluk on Saturday managed to capture a leopard cub on a hill and later handed it over to Forest Department officials.
The villagers set a trap to capture the leopard after spotting the leopard cubs near a herd of sheep on the hill. One of the leopard cubs was caught, but another cub escaped.
The Forest Department officials had captured a leopard on the same hill a few days ago. The villagers suspect that two more leopard cubs may still be somewhere in the same hills.
