HASSAN: Days after businessman Prathapa Gowda died in the Uttarakhand helicopter tragedy, his father Ningaraju (84) also passed away due to ill health on Thursday night. The back-to-back deaths have dealt another shock to the family.
Ningaraju was suffering from severe illness. He had started professional life as a tailor at Jodi Krishnapura in and later Ningaraju had settled in Bachihalli village of Sakleshpur taluk.
Prathapa Gowda had shifted to Bengaluru in search of a job and became a contractor and businessman. The family had informed Ningaraju, who was on his death bed, about the son’s death in the helicopter crash.
Ningaraju who was suffering from severe illness, breathed his last on Thursday night. The last rites were held in Bachihalli village on Friday.
