UDUPI: Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Shobha Karandlaje, who is here as part of the Independence Day celebrations, on Saturday had breakfast at a small hotel at Brahmagiri here.
The Union Minister, who stayed overnight at the travellers’ bungalow, headed out on Saturday morning and stopped at Priyadarshini Hotel for breakfast. She had uddina vada, upma and tea along with other customers and made a special mention about the taste of the sambar.
Shobha also paid the bill for her entire entourage before heading out.
