BENGALURU: Two youths who were on their way back home after work were attacked by another youth over a trivial reason at Vijinapura in Ramamurthy Nagar on Thursday night. One of them, who had sustained serious head injury, succumbed on Friday morning.
Iradraj and Vijay were returning home on their two-wheeler when they were accosted by one Rajesh and his aides who questioned the duo what they were doing in that locality at the late hours. An argument ensued and Rajesh attacked Iradraj with a machete on the head. When Vijay identified himself, he too was attacked.
The two youths then reached home, applied talcum power on their injuries and sent to sleep. However, by morning, Iradraj had died due to bleeding. The Ramamurthy Nagar police have registered a case of murder and are on the lookout for the attacker Rajesh.
