CHIKKAMAGALUR: In a case of moral policing, A group of Hindu youths thrashed two Muslim youths for allegedly offering chocolates to a Hindu girl, at Mudigere bus stand on Tuesday evening. The injured Muneer and Sameer were admitted to a hospital while the police have arrested four youths in the case.
The youths arrived at the bus stand in a car and started assaulting the two Muslim youths. The entire incident was captures on CCTV cameras. As soon as the clash broke out, the KSRTC traffic controller immediately alerted the police who arrived on the scene and rescued the victims. They also arrested four of the attackers.
On Wednesday, the Mudigere police registered two FIRs in the case for group clash, rioting with arms and issuing death threats..
