HUBBALLI: The Kalaghatagi police have arrested two youths for morphing a photo of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and posting it on social media. The arrested are Ashpaq and Shoukat Ali of Harasambi village in Kalaghatagi taluk.
The youths had morphed a photo of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj receiving a sword at the feet Goddess Ambabhavani and replaced the image of the goddess with Tipu Sultan. They had then posted it on social media.
Based on a complaint from th villagers, the police have arrested the two youths.
