BENGALURU: Two youths were arrested by the Madiwala police after they chased a young woman who was driving a car and harassed her in Koramangala on Sunday at night. The police are on the lookout for one more youth who was involved in the incident.
It is alleged that a minor argument broke out between the three youths on a two-wheeler and the woman at the Madiwala signal. They chased her from there, harassed her and punched the car and even tried to open the car door while it was moving.
The youths were following the car from the Madiwala underpass to 5th block, Koramangala. The woman recorded the the youth following her car and threatening her on her mobile phone. The petrified woman, who can be heard sobbing in the video, called the emergency number 112 and explained to the operator that she was being harassed and threatened.
After the trio sped away, the woman parked her car near a popular restaurant in Koramangala and again complained to the police. She later lodged a complaint with the Madiwala police who arrested two of the youths while one is absconding.
