BELAGAVI: A two-year-old child died after accidentally falling into a water sump in their house while he was playing at Kangral Galli here on Sunday. The deceased is Saisha Sandeep Badavanache.
The parents got worried when they did not see the child for some time and started looking for him. When they opened the sump, they found the boy inside the water. They immediately rushed him to a hospital nearby, but the child had died, doctors said.
The Khade Bazaar police have registered a case of unnatural death.
