BENGALURU: In a gruesome accident, a two-wheeler rider was killed on the spot after a speeding car rammed into vehicles standing at a traffic signal at in Vijnana Nagar on Kaggadasapura Main Road on Monday morning. The deceased was identified as 33-year-old Naveen.

Naveen had just stopped behind a car at the Vijnana Nagar traffic signal when another speeding car came from behind and crashed into the two-wheeler. Due to the impact of the collision, Naveen was thrown 50 feet away from the bike and died on the spot due to severe injuries.
The Jeevan Bima Nagar traffic police have taken the 63-year-old car driver into custody and registered a case. Naveen was working in a salon and the car hit him while he was going to the shop.
