BENGALURU: Two girl students are missing from Vidyaranyapura in the city and have still not traced even after 70 days. Continuous searches by 10 police teams in more than 100 places have not yielded any results.
The police have conducted searches in over 100 locations including Mumbai, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Kashi, Kerala, Chamarajanagar and Mysuru. The girls, Tanishka and Tejaswini, had left home on January 31. There is suspicion that they left home due to exam fear.
Police had gathered information that they had gone to Male Mahadeshwara Hills in Chamarajanagar. However, there is no clue about where they went from there. The parents have filed a habeas corpus petition in the High Court. Even after the court’s directions, the girl students have not been traced. Both parents and police are distressed as the students remain untraced.
