HUBBALLI: Two separate POCSO cases have been registered in Hubballi city on a single day at the Town and Ashok Nagar police stations areas, where minors were involved in sexual assault cases against other minors.
In the Town police station area, a minor girl was sexually assaulted by three minors. In Ashok Nagar police station area, a minor girl was sexually harassed and assaulted by two minors, and her father was also attacked.
Police Commissioner N Shashikumar briefed the media on Saturday and said three of the accused have been taken into custody in the first case, and four accused are being questioned in the second case.
The police commissioner also urged parents to monitor their children’s associations during free time, warning that failure to do so could lead to such crimes and ruin their children’s future.
