BENGALURU: Two pedestrians who were walking along the median on Hosur road were killed after a rashly driven truck knocked them down today afternoon. The deceased were identified as Ashik (28) and Manoj Kumar (30).
In CCTV footage that is available, the two pedestrians can be seen walking alongside the barricades placed on the median when a rashly driven truck knocks them down, killing them on the spot. The incident occurred in front of Biocon Ltd in Hebbagodi in Anekal taluk.
After knocking down the duo, the truck jumped on to the service road and overturned a little distance ahead. It is said that both the driver and cleaner were drunk. The Hebbagodi police have arrested them and seized the truck.
