BENGALURU: A youth was assaulted at a traffic signal by three unidentified hooligans on Marathahalli-Varthur main road last week over a trivial reason.
The youth and a girl were on the bike where two unidentified hooligans came on a bike (KA-52-HF-2132), threw down the bike of the victim and then assaulted him and dragged him on the road. Even though miscreants were assaulting the youth, none of the bystanders came to his help.
The incident was captured on the mobile phone of a person sitting inside a car. Locals have alleged that such incidents are repeated occuring in Varthur and Marathhalli police station limits and have expressed outrage over the behaviour of rowdy elements.
