The two farmers had grown ganja plants amidst tur crop.

BIDAR: The narcotics wing of the police have arrested two farmers who had cultivated ganja in between tur crop on their leased land at Yanagund village in Aurad taluk. The arrested farmers are Rajkumar Goranale and Bheemash Kudure.

Police said they seized 155 ganja plants weighing 31 kg and worth Rs 12 lakh. The operation was carried out under the guidance of SP Channabasavanna Langoti and the police used a drone to locate the ganja plants. A case has been registered at the Chintaki police station.
