KARWAR: Two people died and three others were injured when a truck overturned at the Sulimurkhi curve on the Gerusoppa-Sagar road in Honnavar taluk early on Monday. The deceased and the injured are said to be natives of Bihar.
The truck, carrying steel, was on its way from Sagar to Honnavar when it overturned due to speeding. Six people were travelling in the truck at the time of the accident.
The injured were shifted to the taluk hospital in Honnavar. The Honnavar police visited the spot and registered a case.
