TUMAKURU: Two children were grievously injured after a leopard attacked them at Irakasandra Colony in Koratagere taluk on Saturday. The boys had gone to the cowshed for milking in the morning when the leopard pounced on them.
The two children have been identified as Dhanush (13) and Chethan (15). They sustained injuries in the leg, thigh, head and some other parts of the body.
Following the incident, the family took the injured to district government hospital in a private car as the ambulance did not respond to the call and are undergoing treatment.
The incident occurred in Kolal police station limits.
