BENGALURU: Two burqa-clad women passengers were caught red-handed by a BMTC bus conductor while travelling with the same Aadhaar card number under the Shakti Yojana. A video of a conversation between the conductor and burqa-wearing passengers and Aadhaar cards has now gone viral on social media.
When the conductor asked for the ID cards before issuing the ticket, the women showed two Aadhaar cards. But the conductor noticed that both cards had the same Aadhaar number and questioned them. Then, one woman passenger bought a ticket and continued their travel.
The conductor captured a video of the incident and explained how women cheat for free travel on buses.
