Two boys, out for swim in Banahatti lake, die after drowning

BAGALKOT: Two boys, who went swimming in the Banahatti  lake, drowned and died in Banahatti town on Monday morning. The deceased have been identified as Sanjay Talwar (12) and Samarth Talwar (12).

The two went swimming in the lake at 9 am today and drowned due to the increased water level. The lake was full after the rains over the last few days. Local swimmers and firemen fished out the bodies from the water.
