HASSAN: Two 19-year-old died after suffering cardiac arrest in separate cases in the district on Wednesday. The victims are from Holenarsipur and Arkalgud taluks and are not related to each other.
Sandhya, the daughter of Venkatesh and Poornima, residents of Madiwala Layout in Holenarsipur town, had gone to the bathroom in the morning, but did not come out for long. When the parents broke open the door, they found Sandhya collapsed on the floor.
The parents then rushed the girl to a hospital where the doctors informed them that she had suffered a cardiac arrest. Sandhya had completed her final year diploma course and had been suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes, her parents said.
In another case, Abhishek K R, who hailed from Kadanur village in Arkalgud taluk, collapsed and died while he was standing at Basaveshwara Nagar in Bengaluru on Wednesday. He was rushed to a hospital by locals, but was declared brought dead.
Abhishek is the son of Anasuya and Ramakrishna. He had quit studies and was the breadwinner of the family. He was working as a cab driver in Bengaluru.
