BALLARI: A truck, which was washed away in the overflowing Vedavathi river two days ago near Raravi in Siriguppa taluk, was spotted in the river on Thursday after the water level receded.
The truck driver Ahmed and cleaner Hussainsab had been washed away. While Ahmed was rescued, Hussainsab could not be traced even after a 13-hour rescue operation. The search was subsequently called off.
