KOPPAL: A truck carrying medical supplies overturned on National Highway-50 near Mataladinni village in Yelburga taluk on Tuesday. Cartons of medicines lay scattered on the road till the police arrived and cleared the highway for traffic.
The truck was on its way from Ahmedabad to Bengaluru when the accident occurred. It is suspected that the truck hit the road median and overturned as the driver was feeling drowsy.
The injured drivers Mohammed Zakir Hussain and Mohammed Pasha were rushed to a hospital for treatment. The Bevoor police have registered a case.
