CHITRADURGA: A moving car caught fire on the national highway in Hiriyur on Monday. Luckily, there was no casualty.
The car belongs to one Rameshachari of Honnali and was on its way from Davanagere towards Bengaluru when fire was seen near V V Sagar Road in Hiriyur. The driver of the car immediately got out.
The Fire and Emergency Services personnel arrived on the scene and put out the fire. However, the car was completely charred. The Hiriyur Town police visited the spot.
