BENGALURU: A fan of actor Darshan, who had organised a photoshoot of his baby, dressed as an undertrial, complete with Darshan’s undertrial number, now faces trouble.

The child was seen wearing a white T-shirt as a prisoner uniform with a prisoner number and handcuffs. The photoshoot has sparked outrage on social media. Many expressed their disapproval of dressing up a child up as a prisoner.

The Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights has taken up a suo motu case and the police are now on the lookout for the parents. Commission member Shashidhar Kosumbe told Public TV that organising such a photoshoot is condemnable and hence, a suo motu case was registered.

The child rights commission has taken the case seriously as it violates child rights. Legal action will be initiated against the parents, Shashidhar said.
