BENGALURU: Two of the accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, Darshan and Pradosh, appeared before the trial court via video conference, sporting vibhuti.
The trial, which began on December 17, has been adjourned to January 12 after a brief hearing on Monday. The prosecution has applied to declare Renukaswamy’s mother, Rathna Prabha, a hostile witness, citing her contradictory statements.
The court was expected to decide on the application on Monday. The prosecution has alleged that Rathna Prabha is testifying against them, and if declared a hostile witness, she may face cross-examination by the prosecution.
