BENGALURU: The Transport Department has raked in Rs 21 lakh through the sale of fancy registration numbers of vehicles.
The auction of fancy numbers in the M 04/ND series was held at the HSR Layout RTO and 13 numbers fetched a total of Rs 21,55,000.
The number M 04/ND 0001 was auctioned for Rs 6,75,00, M 04/ND 9999 for Rs 3,00,000, M 04/ND 0005 for Rs 1,90,000 and M 04/ND 0009 for Rs 1.35,000.
