BENGALURU: A businessman and realtor died under suspicious circumstances after falling from the house of his third wife at Annapoorneshwari Nagar in Nagarbhavi in the wee hours on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Maranjinappa (62).

The third wife Geetha, who describes herself as a social worker on the social media profile admitted Maranjinappa to a hospital, but he did not respond to treatment.

The first wife Umavathi and her children suspect Geetha’s role in the death and have lodged a complaint with the Annapoorneshwari Nagar police.

Maranjinappa was also a JD(S) functionary of Mallasandra ward in Dasarahalli Assembly constituency. After admitting him to a hospital, Geetha has been missing, raising suspicion.
