CHAMARAJANAGAR: A tiger was spotted on a farm land in Kallipura village of Gundlupet taluk on Friday. Locals immediately alerted the Forest Department.
Farmers confronted the staff, saying the Forest Department did not respond to their calls. Instead of capturing the tiger, they are working to drive it elsewhere.
“If it attacks farmers elsewhere, who will be responsible?”, they questioned. The villagers expressed outrage over the functioning of the Forest Department.
