SHIVAMOGGA: The Tunga Nagar police have arrested three people for illegally selling sandalwood near Umblebailu in Thirthahalli taluk on Wednesday night.
Acting on specific information, the police nabbed Imjad (42), Siddique Basha (30) and Fairoz Khan (30) who were selling sandalwood after parking their car near Umblebailu.
The police have seized 14.5 kg of sandalwood and Rs 58,000 in cash and a Maruti Alto car from the accused and registered a case.
