SHIVAMOGGA: Even months after the government changed in the state, an old hoarding of former chief minister Basavaraj Bommai has not been removed at the Thirthahalli town panchayat in Shivamogga district.

Officials of the town panchayat of Thirthahalli have not taken off a flex even after two months since Siddaramaiah’s government came to power. Former chief minister Basavaraj Bommai’s hoarding is still hanging on the main road of Thirthahalli.

A photo of Basavaraj Bommai was put on one of the Urban Development and Municipal Administration department flexes mentioning ‘Honourable Karnataka State Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai’ below of his picture. Locals are now questioning the municipality for its laxity.
