CHIKODI: In a serial theft case, thieves stile gold, silver and cash after breaking into several houses at Kokatanura village in Athani taluk on Monday. Officials and employees of Renuka Sugars live in the village.
Thieves stole 75 grams of gold ornaments, 1.5 kg of silver and Rs 10,000 cash from the factory GM’s house after breaking the door. They also stole 5 grams of gold from the house of Bhimasena Mali and 90 grams of silver from the house of Siddalinga Jagadala.
They also attempted to break the doors of four other houses in the village. Aigali police are investigating the case.
