Thieves break into agriculture cooperative society in Ranebennur village, flee with Rs 20,000

The cooperative society has witnessed a theft for a second time.

HAVERI: Thieves broke into the agriculture credit cooperative society branch at Kakola village in Ranebennur taluk on Monday night and made away with Rs 20,000 in cash after breaking open the chest with a gas cutter.

This is the second time that a theft has occurred at the cooperative society, causing anxiety among the villagers. The Ranebennur Rural police visited the spot and have are on the lookout for the thieves after registering a case.
