BAGALKOT: This thief is like no other. Cash and other valuables are of no interest to him. He eyes only good food kept in kitchens and good clothes.
The man, said to be mentally unstable, has been striking around Sai Nagar, Lakshmi Nagar and Kadasiddeshwara Nagar areas of Banahatti town over the last one month.
The thief enters houses when households are engrossed in watching TV serials. Even if he finds cash lying around, he just throws it and walks away. In CCTV footage, the thief can be seen trying to enter a house and leave after he spots the family through the window.
Complaints have now been lodged with the Banahatti police who are on the trail of the thief.
