BENGALURU: The Department of School Education and Literacy has announced a tentative academic calendar for the year 2023-24.
As per the calendar, schools will reopen from May 29, 2023 and close on April 10, 2024. The mid-term vacation will be from October 8 to 24, 2023 and the summer vacation will be from April 11 to May 28, 2024.
The academic calendar will apply to all government, aided and unaided schools following the state syllabus. The department will hold a meeting soon with the deputy directors of public instruction (DDPIs) and finalise the calendar of events.
