BENGALURU: An autorickshaw driver deliberately knocked down a techie who was waiting for a Rapido bike taxi at HSR Layout Sector 1 around 3.15 am on Wednesday.
The techie had booked a bike taxi and was waiting for his ride when an autorickshaw driver approached him. In CCTV footage that is available, the techie and the auto driver can be seen having an exchange of words for a brief while.
Suddenly, as the techie steps away, the auto driver rams the former with his vehicle, forcing him to fall to the edge of the road. The HSR Layout police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the auto driver.
